Lisa Selman-Holman, BMSC Chair


Lisa is a veteran of home care with over 28 years spent in home health and hospice, both as an RN and as an attorney practicing exclusively in home care. She is the owner of Selman-Holman & Associates, LLC, a full-service home care and hospice consulting firm; CoDR (Coding Done Right), an outsourcing company for home care and hospice coding; and Code Pro University, the premier comprehensive online education for ICD-10-CM.

She participates on the Board of Medical Specialty Coding and Compliance specialty board on OASIS and is the chair of the specialty board on home care coding. She has provided education to home health and hospice professionals since 1994. She is known for her comprehensive knowledge of home health and hospice regulations and her ability to communicate with insight and humor.

Sharon Molinari, BMSC Vice Chair


Sharon Molinari is a home health veteran and consultant, is an approved Board of Medical Specialty Coding and Compliance (BMSC) educator.  She is a member of the BMSC Home Care Advisory Board and author of the Study Guide for HCS-D Certification Examinations.  Sharon is a national presenter of coding and OASIS workshops and is a contributor to various home care publications.  She also develops CEU programs for home health professionals.

Arlynn Hansell, Secretary

HCS-D, HCS-H, HCS-O, COS-C, Owner, Therapy and More, LLC

Arlynn Hansell has been a Physical Therapist in the home health setting since October 1998, holding positions of field therapist, rehab manager, and quality/compliance assurance. As owner of Therapy and More, LLC, she assists agencies in achieving therapy documentation and practice excellence in order to better position themselves against auditors. Consulting services further consist of OASIS auditing and coding practice. She remains current with certifications in HCS-D, HCS-O, and COS-C. Arlynn has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1995, where she currently serves as the Vice President of the Home Health Section.

Jean Bird

HCS-D, COS-C, AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM Trainer

Jean graduated with her nursing degree in 1982 and has worked in home health since 1994. She has been a field nurse, Case manager, Clinical supervisor and transitioned to her coding career in 2000 with the advent of PPS. She has been HCS-D credentialed since 2004, and became HCS-D 10 certified in 2014. She  is an AHIMA Approved ICD-10 trainer, and is COS-C certified. She also contributes to Diagnosis Coding Pro by answering the ‘Ask the Expert’ questions each month. Jean currently works for Gentiva Health Services as a coder/QA Manager, and for CoDR – coding done right.

Vonnie Blevins

Coding and Billing Manager, Excellence Healthcare

Vonnie Blevins, HCS-D, is the coding and billing manager for Excellence Healthcare in Houston, Texas. She also teaches coding, has been the primary technical editor on several coding books and is a well-known moderator on DecisionHealth’s diagnosis coding listserv.

Robert Markette, Jr., JD

CHC Attorney, Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman, P.C.

focuses his practice on representing home health, hospice and private duty providers in all aspects of their operations. With more than 10 years of experience in working with these industries, Robert has developed a reputation for understanding the issues facing home care providers and has assisted clients in a number of areas related to the operation of their businesses.

He works with clients on issues related to Medicare and Medicaid compliance, including surveys, responding to surveys and state and federal appeals of survey findings; payer issues, including appealing payer audit findings; HIPAA compliance; and Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse, including matters such as developing and implementing compliance programs, performing internal investigations and representing providers in external investigations and civil and criminal matters. Robert also assists clients with purchasing and selling home health, hospice and private duty agencies.

Because these providers depend heavily on their staffs, Robert also addresses legal issues related to employment matters. This includes wage and hour compliance, responding to Department of Labor investigations and litigating wage and hour disputes. Robert routinely provides guidance to his clients on HR matters, including assisting with preparing personnel manuals, guidance on discipline issues and similar matters. He also assists clients in responding to EEOC investigations and discrimination lawsuits and similar employment issues.

Robert is certified in health care compliance by the Health Care Compliance Board. He is also a frequent speaker on home health, hospice and private duty matters across the country, presenting to the American Health Lawyers Association and the National Association for Home Health and Hospice Care, as well as other national speaking events and numerous state trade association conferences and continuing education sessions.

Ann Rambusch

RN, MSN, HCS-D, HCS-O, COS-C, AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM Trainer

Rambusch is a consultant who provides guidance to home health agencies on improving clinical and financial outcomes. Rambusch is a member of the Board of Medical Specialty Coding & Compliance (BMSC) and one of the lead technical advisors in the creation of the HCS-O exam and certification. She also is a former administrator/general manager for Interim Healthcare in Austin, Texas.
