Mission

AHCC is dedicated to increasing the visibility of post-acute care providers to ensure they have a voice and are thoughtfully considered when policies and regulations are proposed and finalized.  AHCC also strives to build awareness of the critical role post-acute care plays in the care continuum and the positive impact it has on reducing readmissions and lowering costs of care.  To support these initiatives, AHCC is committed to setting and measuring the post-acute care industry’s standards of professional excellence.

AHCC and its membership endeavor to meet the established professional standards of excellence and support one another in meeting individual and industry goals of quality patient care, continuous outcome improvement, and to ensure the financial integrity of employer organizations through accurate and compliant coding.
