Our theme this year is Honesty, Integrity & Ethics: You can count on us. And today, we’d like to highlight a special colleague recognition from the 2019 DecisionHealth Home Health Coding Summit and Home Health Payment Summit that recognizes ethics in home care.
Here’s what Deborah Jo Felix shared about her colleague, Irma Felix:
“Irma Felix is not only the CEO of Home Kare Inc. of Dona Ana, my boss, but also my mother. It’s not easy being a woman building a business from the ground up while maintaining a busy and loving home. Her work ethic is admirable and her love for our patients overflows to her staff. Working for Home Kare is like working with family. I, too, share a love for the health care industry. With her encouragement and support, as well as the Home Kare staff, I have a real career in billing and coding, something I am very proud of. I have Irma Felix to thank for that.”
